After being a successful MPV in India, Maruti Suzuki Ertiga seems to be going for a facelift. Maruti Suzuki wants to reinforce the position of Maruti Suzuki Ertiga in the MPV segment. Maruti Suzuki that now sells Ertiga in petrol, diesel and CNG variants will launch the face lifted Ertiga during mid-2015.
The new look of Maruti Ertiga is expected to include some minor changes on the exteriors, refreshed grille and a redesigned front and rear bumper. The facelifted version could come with some more chrome on its boot lid and a newly designed alloy rims.
The interiors are expected to get and updated infotainment system. The new Ertiga could also get a 4-speed automatic gearbox. Maruti currently offers the automatic transmission in the models that are sold in Indonesia.
The existing models are available in petrol and diesel variants. The petrol variant is powered by a 1.4 liter K-series engine and the diesel variant is powered by a 1.3 liter MJD engine.
