Volkswagen has launched the refreshed Jetta today at Rs. 13.87 lakh. The 2015 VW Jetta sports minor updates that include new bumpers and grille, new headlights and taillights and it retains its handsome looks to target people from corporate background.
The interiors sport a touchscreen infotainment system, new chrome ringed instrument cluster, refreshed flat bottom steering wheel, replete with paddle shifters and a driver fatigue detection system.
The 2015 VW Jetta will continue being powered by the same powertrain. The diesel variant will be powered by the same 1968 cc, in-line 4 cylinder, Common Rail turbocharged engine that produces 140 PS and 320 Nm of torque. The petrol variant will be powered by a 1390 cc, in-line 4 cylinder, turbocharged, inter-cooled that produces 122 PS and 200 Nm of torque. While the cruise control and 6 airbags are standard on all variants, the diesel variant will be available with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed DSG and the petrol variant will be sold only with a shift yourself option.
2015 VW Jetta will compete with Renault Fluence, Toyota Corolla and Skoda Octavia in India.
