Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has launched the 2017 model of Dream Yuga in the country at a price of INR 51,741 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The entry-level commuter motorcycle gains BS-IV compliance and Automatic Headlamp ON (AHO) facility. The new 2017 Honda Dream Yuga is now open at the dealerships in 6 colors namely metallic red, white, blue, red, black and grey. The Dream Yuga is the top-of-the-line model in Honda’s Dream range of commuter bikes. Targeted at customers looking for an affordable, efficient and hassle-free commuter motorcycle, it gets new paint schemes and decals to add some flair.
The 2017 Honda Dream Yuga is powered by a 109cc, single cylinder, air-cooled engine mated to a four-speed transmission. The carbureted motor makes a top power output of 8.3 bhp along with a highest torque of 9 Nm. As already mentioned, the engine is now BS-IV compliant, which means it is slightly more fuel efficient than before. The braking duties to the 2017 Honda Dream Yuga are carried with the help of drum brakes at both ends. The suspension system comprises of telescopic forks up front along with twin shock absorbers at the rear. The new 2017 Honda Dream Yuga contests with the likes of the Hero Splendor iSmart 110 and TVS Star City Plus.
