2018 Renault (Dacia) Duster unveiled

The Romanian supplementary of Renault, Dacia, has revealed the all-new 2018 Duster which is going to make its public debut at the 2017 Frankfurt Show on September 12. The SUV gets a complete makeover with a more robust, muscular styling that is further emphasized by a new body colour, Atacama Orange. At the front, all-new Duster’s grille extends to the head lights positioned at the car’s extreme corners and makes the model appear wider. A new lighting signature, including LED daytime running lights, are divided into three sections. The new crease lines of the horizontal bonnet give a better stance to the car better and the larger, satin-chrome-finish skid plate is scratch resistant to uphold its smart look.

At the side, the higher belt line adds an impression of strength and occupant protection. As per the French carmaker, the windscreen has been brought forward 100-mm compared with the present Duster and is more steeply raked, which makes the cabin longer so it looks more spacious. The new aluminum roof bars, a frequent SUV hallmark, extend the line of the windscreen for a more dynamic profile. 17-inch wheels and projecting wheel arches with black wing arch trims highlight the car’s adventurer credentials. The rear features voluminous haunches. Horizontal lines and lights positioned at the extreme corners heighten the car’s solid stance. Dacia’s rear lighting signature – four red stacked squares – has been adapted for Duster. All-New Duster also claims upgraded travelling comfort with a completely redesigned interior and new equipment. However, no alteration has been specified in the powertrain of the model.
