Datsun Go and Go+ limited editions launched

A company backed by Nest co-founder Tony Fadell is taking Andy Rubin's startup to court.


Celebrating 3 years of the Go plus and Go in India, Datsun launched a special anniversary special editions of both cars. The special edition of the Datsun Go is priced at Rs.4.19 Lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) while the Go+ costs Rs.4.9 Lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).The anniversary editions of the Go and Go+ come with some additional features but are alike in terms of price to the T(O) variant. What both cars get is a leading in segment Ambient Lighting app for mobile phones with which a customer can select the mood lighting of the car’s cabin to suit her/his taste.


The exterior sees the use of body graphics, an Anniversary Edition badge, and black back spoiler. The cabin features vivid blue inlays on the passenger seats and the blue theme continues around the center console. Additionally, anniversary floor mats, art leather seats, a keyless entry system, Bluetooth connectivity, rear parking sensor, radio and USB connection features are also part of the feature list.

The price of the anniversary edition is similar to the T(O) variant

There are no engine changes made to both the cars and both come powered by the same 1.2 litre petrol engine which is good enough for 67 bhp and developing 104 Nm torque.
