Datsun is all set to introduce the Datsun Go+ for the Indian market on January 15, 2015. The Datsun Go+ resembles the hatchback, Datsun Go up to quite an extent. The MPV from Datsun is expected to be available at a price starting from Rs 4.1 lakh.
The Datsun Go+ is just an expanded version of the Datsun Go with additional space in the rear and head on. The hexagonal grille, the wraps around the headlights with metal inserts, the windscreen and even the V in the bonnet in the two cars are quite similar. Datsun Go+ has a width of 1.6 meters, height of 1.4-meters and a wheelbase of 3.95 metres. The interiors of both Datsun and Datsun Go+ are the same, including accessories like the mobile phone charging dock.
Datsun Go+ is powered by a three-cylinder, all-aluminium 1.2-litre engine that produces 67bhp at 5,000rpm and 104Nm of torque. Power is transmitted to the front wheels via a five-speed manual gearbox. It is expected that the Go+ will also be available with the 1.5-litre diesel engine in India.
