Bike enthusiasts have some good news as Ducati is soon going to hit the Indian market in late 2015. Gaadi.com has spotted the upcoming dealership of Ducati in Gurgaon’s Sector-34. The dealership is quite big in terms of size as it will house both display area as well as a service station.
The showroom is reported to be owned by AMP Motors that also owns Jaguar Land Rover showrooms in Delhi NCR region. There has been a rapid growth in demand for performance bikes in India with market players like Kawasaki, Harley Davidson, Triumph witnessing incredible sales figures. Ducati, too wants to expand the list of options in the performance bikes segment in India.
Ducati is expected to hit Indian roads with its entire international lineup that includes Hypermotard, Panigale, Monster, Diavel, Streetfighter, Multistrada and the recently unveiled Scrambler. The most affordable Ducatis in India will be the Scrambler Icon and the Asia-specific Monster 795 that is expected to cost within Rs. 7 lakhs to 8 lakhs.
Headquartered in Bologna, Italy, Ducati manufactures performance bikes. Ducati is owned by Lamborghini that is subsidiary of Audi, which in turn is owned by the Volkswagen Group.
