Honda Jazz that is expected to make its debut at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show will soon enter the European market. Honda issued a statement saying that the new Jazz will be put on sale in summer 2015.
The pre-production form of the new Honda Jazz was showcased at the 2014 Paris Motor Show. The Europe bound Jazz will sport a new grille that is also found on the Japanese or American models.
On being launched, the automaker will sell the hatchback with a 1.3-liter four-cylinder i-VTEC petrol powertrain that will produce 102 PS and the engine comes mated to a new 6-speed manual transmission or a CVT gearbox (optional). Some reports say that, Honda will launch the Jazz Hybrid with a 1.5-liter petrol engine alongwith a petrol motor.
Honda plans to launch the new Jazz in the first half of 2015 and the automaker has started the production of the upcoming hatchback. The Europe bound Honda Jazz will be manufactured at Honda’s manufacturing facility in Swindon, UK. Last month, Honda had launched the new Jazz in South Africa with two 4-cylinder i-VTEC petrol power trains. Honda also plans to offer CVT with paddle shifters for the new Honda Jazz in India.
