Here we have the latest variant the Lamborghini Aventador family, the Aventador S which has been launched in India at Rs.5.01-crore (All India ex-showroom). Lamborghini’s have always held that a distinctive exhaust note and a unique charm, which can be found in the new Aventador S as well. Along with better aero-dynamics, the new model also produces an additional 41-BHP over its predecessor. The HyperCard continues to be built around carbon-fiber monologue chassis, however this time, it catches a revised suspension and pushrod setting for a quicker answer.
The new Lamborghini Aventador S is powered by a 6.5 liter naturally aspirated V-12 engine that generates a massive 730-bhp of power. The highly powerful engine comes mated to a 7- speed ISR (Independent Shifting Rods) gearbox. The vehicle claims to reach a top speed of 349-kmph and does a 0-100-kmph in just 2.9 – 3.0 seconds. The Aventador S gets three drive modes Sport and Corsa (race performance), Strada (street driving. Moreover, it gets a four wheel steering system where in the front axle gets the company’s dynamic steering setup while the rear gets two separate actuators with 5 -millisecond quick adjustments that respond as per the driver’s steering input. In terms of design, the Aventador S from Lamborghini gets a redesigned front that claims to generate an additional 130% down force on its nose, while the rear features three position wing which increases down force up to 50 % The automaker claims that the vehicle also gives the best handling even under the most slippery conditions by reducing the drag by 400 per cent. Speaking about the interior, the HyperCard flaunts new TFT display (with new graphics) with Apple Car Play and an option to add the telemetry system.
