The photograph of the 2017 Audi R8 supercar has been uploaded by an Instagram user. The upcoming supercar from Audi is all set to make its debut at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show that is scheduled to be held on March 3, this year.

Going by the photo, the new Audi R8’s bonnet is partially open and the supercar sits on an elevation without its wheels.

The latest photo taken from Instagram does not sport the sideblade, which is the signature of the first-generation car. But the super car certainly looks more muscular that goes well with the German carmaker’s latest design language. The headlights get sharper looks and the radiator grille is lower, broader and adopts a hexagonal shape.

Built on the same platform that has been used in the Lamborghini Huracan LP610-4, the Audi R8 is expected to be available with either a V8 or V10 engine. The supercar will get a seven speed dual clutch transmission but will not be offered with a manual gearbox.

The petrol powered Audi R8 will debut at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show by all electric version that will possibly get the e-tron badge with a range of over 400 km.
