Porsche Cayenne’s design
The front body of Cayenne has been given a new shape. The luxury car maker has not compromised with the design of the car’s bonnet, air blades and front wings either. Apart from the four point LED daytime running lights and bi-xenon headlights, Cayenne’s rear lights create a three dimensional effect as the brake lights have been designed in four elements.
Porsche has developed new exhaust tail pipes that has been fitted in the lower rear section. The lights, boot handle and license plate have been integrated in a more elegant fashion.
Cayenne assures more power without affecting the fuel efficiency of the car. As mentioned above, Porsche Cayenne will be available in two diesel variants, one variant with petrol engine and the other variant in turbo version. Please find the engine specifications below:
What’s new inside?
Porsche Traction Management: it is an all-wheel-drive system that has an automatic brake differential (ABD), electronically variable, map-controlled multi-plate clutch and an anti-slip regulation (ASR). Apart from distributing the force optimally between the front and rear axle, the multi-plate clutch ensures that the car remains stable even when it is running at a very high speed.
Cayenne also comes with three off-road modes. The first off-road mode ensures that ABS is adapted to provide the right traction, the second off-road mode secures more traction on higher terrain as it locks the multi-plate clutch and the third mode i.e. the Torque Vectoring Plus (optional) has been unified with the all-wheel drive system. The three off-road modes are available in Cayenne Turbo, , Cayenne S Diesel and Cayenne S models.
The central console has the car and gear controls and a 7 inch touchscreen display. The music system runs on CD as well as USB. Two 7-inch colour touchscreen displays with anti-shock protection have been deployed at the rear seat.
Porsche India retails the models through its eight authorised sales and service dealers based in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata and Mumbai.
