The new Nissan Datsun Go+ is all set for a launch on January 15. Now, the company has announced that the pre booking will start from January 3 and will continue till January 14.
The prospective buyers can just go to any Nissan dealership across India and pre book Nissan Datsun Go+ by paying Rs. 11,000. The booking amount will be fully refundable and not just that, the first 100 buyers will also get a “welcome pack”. The welcome pack is most likely to include some attractive goodies and accessories. There is still no clearance on what the package is exactly going to include.
The deliveries of the new Datsun Go+ are slated to begin on January 15, which is the day of the official launch. The Nissan Datsun Go+ is basically a compact MPV based on the Datsun Go hatch back. The car is going to be a seven-seater and will be launched at attractive prices.
The vehicle will have an extended body version which is (5+2) seats but it can be said that the vehicle is more of a station wagon and not exactly an MPV. The makers have made sure that they launch their new car at a very competitive price and the starting price is going to be around 3.99 lakhs. This car is most likely to give a stiff competition to cars like Maruti Suzuki Ertiga.
Go+ will be powered by the same 1.2 litre three cylinder engine which also powered the Go hatchback. This engine will generate a maximum power of 67 bhp and a maximum torque of 104 Nm. The company claims that fuel efficiency figure is going to be 20.6 kmpl.
Looking at the structure of Datsun Go+, we can find that the car is 3995mm long, 1635mm wide and has a height of 1490mm. The wheelbase for the vehicle is 2450 mm while its ground clearance is 170 mm. The designers have made sure that navigating this vehicle on Indian roads is quite easy as the turning radius of this vehicle stands at 4.6 mm.
