Suzuki Motor Corporation, a giant Japanese multi-national motorcycles maker, has launched the latest sports motorcycle, the GSX-250-R, in the European market. This parallel alike Suzuki sports two wheeler has been priced at 4,299 GBP (Britain Pound), which is roughly Rs.3.5 lakhs.
The Suzuki GSX-250-R gets a 248-cc parallel twin engine which is proficient of making a maximum power of 25 BHP and a highest torque of 23 Nm. This engine is mated to a six speed transmission gear-box. The motorcycle also gets telescopic fork in the front and monoshock suspension at the back. The Suzuki GSX-250-R is one of the fiercest competition to the Kawasaki Ninja 300, KTM RC 390 and Yamaha YZF-R3 in the European market. It is one of the most aggressively valued sports motorcycles and is available at a much lower price than its challengers. It is 600 GBP cheaper than the Kawasaki Ninja 300 and 800 GBP cheaper than the KTM RC 390 and Yamaha YZF-R3. Suzuki is offering the motorcycle in the Moto GP livery as well. Currently, Suzuki already has a similar looking two-wheeler in India, the Gixxer SF, which comes with a 154.9 cc engine under the skin. This engine is capable of making a maximum power of 14.5 BHP and a highest torque of 14 Nm. This engine is mated to 5-speed transmission gearbox.
