Toyota Rush Expected to Launch in India in 2018

The 2018 Toyota Rush will launch in Indonesia in 2018. Also, speculations are rife that the Rush SUV will even make it to India next year. The 2018 Toyota Rush will be an all-new model that will use in amply from the Daihatsu DN-TREC concept. So far, Toyota Kirloskar Motor hasn’t been vocal about its plans to launch this small SUV in India. Presently, the Rush gets its juice from the 3SZ-VE 1.5-litre VVT-i petrol engine that outputs a supreme power of 109 PS and a highest torque of 141 Nm. The Indian version of the 2nd-gen model could share its Diesel engines with the Corolla.

The company has so far shown no inclination towards launching the Rush moniker in India. This is simply because the present model is unfitting for Indian conditions owing to lack of a Diesel engine. Speculations are rife that the company will launch the next-gen SUV to India. Hence, a late-2018 launch date can’t really be ruled out. The 2018 Toyota Rush will first launch in Indonesia.
