The new TVS Apache RR 310S launch could take place at the Auto Expo 2018. Prices expected to start at Rs.1.5 lakh. Will look a lot like the Akula 310 concept shown at the earlier Auto Expo It is being said that the production-spec TVS Apache RR 310S will finally launch at the Auto Expo 2018. The RR 310S was present at the 2016 Expo in its concept avatar with the name of Akula 310S. We have already seen patent images of the Apache RR 310S, which show the 313cc Apache RR310S will look a lot like the Akula concept. It is being said that prices of this motorcycle will start around Rs.1.5 lakh. Here is everything that we know about the TVS Apache RR 310S launch date and price. The new motorcycle will boast a full fairing which will hold a pretty large windscreen. The large windscreen should help the rider avoid the wind blast at high speeds. The front full fairing also holds twin headlights. We are pretty sure there will be a projector setup along with Daytime Running Lamps (DRLs). The motorcycle continues testing and has been spotted yet again.
The recent spy shots reveal the mirrors being placed on the windscreen and the presence of the rear tyre hugger and pillion handle grips. The bike is camouflaged in red unlike the silver colour which we have been seeing so far. The flagship Apache is based on the BMW G310R. It borrows the chassis, engine, wheels, brakes, exhaust and suspension from the Bimmer. Powering the Apache 310 is a 313cc single-cylinder motor that punches out 34 HP of power and 28 Nm of torque. This engine comes mated to a 6-speed transmission. ABS is likely to be offered as an option. The Apache RR 310S is expected to be priced at around the Rs.1.6 – 1.8 lakh mark. The Apache RR 310S will rival the KTM RC 390. It comes mated to a manual gearbox. The front suspension comprises of Upside-Down Forks while the rear gets a Monoshock suspension. Both the wheels get a disc brake each. We are expecting the bike to come with sticky Michelin rubber. ABS should be available as an option.
