Having completed seven years in India, Volkswagen India, a subsidiary of the German automobile manufacturer, has announced discounts on the Jetta, Vento and Polo. However, the company is offering discounts only on select models.
The company is offering a free ‘Annual Maintenance Contract’ for a period of two years that could be extended to three years for free on the Volkswagen Vento. The Vento also comes with a free insurance for two years.
Apart from this, Exchange bonus of upto Rs. 30,000 and cash discount of upto Rs. 70,000 can also be availed on the pre-facelift Vento. Cash benefits of upto Rs. 18,000 can be availed at an EMI option of Rs. 8,888 per month on the Volkswagen Polo. However, this offer is not applicable on the GT versions.
Volkswagen Jetta gets an exchange bonus of upto Rs. 30,000 and cash bonus of upto Rs. 50,000. Volkswagen India had also introduced the Phaeton, Touareg and Passat in India but had discontinued its production. Volkswagen Phaeton was in the Indian market from 2010 to 2013. While the Volkswagen Touareg was in India from 2008 to 2013, Volkswagen Passat was assembled locally from 2007 to 2012.
