Audi Q3 facelift to be launched in India in May 2015

A company backed by Nest co-founder Tony Fadell is taking Andy Rubin's startup to court.

According to a report published by Motor Octane, Audi is going to launch the face lifted version of its hottest selling Audi Q3 will be launched in India in May 2015. Audi had revealed the Q3 facelift in November last year. The Q3 facelift will feature some technical as well as cosmetic changes.

The Q3 facelift will feature a sharp single frame grille, fine-tuned front bumper with broader air dam and redesigned fog lamp housings, redesigned headlamps with xenon plus technology and DRLs, restyled rear bumper and new LED tail lights. The premium SUV will also get optional dynamic turn indicators that is integrated into the headlamps along with new alloy wheels.

The interiors sport power-adjustable front seats, an infotainment system with MMI navigation, LED interior lighting package and the car is also packed with safety features like Audi active lane assist and Audi side assist.

2015 Audi Q3 facelift rear

The Audi Q3 facelift will be powered by the TSI and TDI engines that powered the outgoing model as well. However, the engines will be available with high power ratings. As claimed by Audi, the engines’ fuel efficiency has been improved by 17 percent.

By selling over 10,000 units for two consecutive years, Audi has been ruling the premium car segment in India. By launching new and face lifted models, Audi wants to strengthen its position in the Indian market.
