Bajaj CT 100 relaunched in India at Rs. 35,801; targets tier III markets
The Bajaj CT 100 motorcycle that was discontinued in 2006 has been relaunched by Bajaj Auto. The 2015 Bajaj CT 100 has already reached dealerships with its deliveries underway. As per an exclusive report in Indian Autos Blog, the 2015 CT 100 model was found at a dealership located in a tier III district. The bike is priced at Rs. 35,801 (ex-showroom).
Mechanically, the bike remains unchanged. Powering the CT 100 is a single-cylinder, four-stroke 99.27 cc engine that produces 8.2 hp of power and 8.05 Nm of torque and comes mated to a four-speed gearbox. To render a different look to the bike, Bajaj has rendered new alloy wheels and new graphics to the motorcycle.
As per the report, the suspension of the bike has been tuned for better comfort. Bajaj is primarily targeting the rural markets by relaunching the 2015 Bajaj CT 100 model. The bikes have been dispatched to the dealers in tier III cities.
