Body Design: The upcoming 7-series gets astounding looks with sleek and streamlined double headlights that goes well with the clear lens fog lamps on the body coloured bumpers. The rear end is styled by a set of sparkling tail lamps cluster. The premium sedan is constructed with high-strength steels, aluminum, magnesium and carbon fiber reinforced plastic.

Interiors: The interiors of the five seater sedan offers luxury and comfort at the best. The interiors sport finest leather seats that adds on to the luxurious ambience. Equipped with slide open sunroof, the 7-series sedan will get climate control settings, navigation and iDrive control for the audio. The technology deployed inside and outside the cabin is going to be better than anything that has been seen in any BMW in the past.

Engine: The upcoming 2016 BMW 7-series will be offered in both petrol and diesel variants. Powering the 740Li variant will be a 4000cc 8-cylinders petrol engine, while the 750Li variants will be powered by a 4799 cc 8-cylinders engine. The 760 Li variant comes fitted with a 5972 cc 12-cylinders petrol engine. The 730Ld variant is powered by a six-cylinder diesel engine. Ensuring smooth gear shifts in every variant is a seamless 6-speed automatic transmission.

Safety Features: Electronic Chassis Control system and the Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) are standard features across all variants of the BMW 7-series sedan. The DSC controls the traction of the vehicle and prevents the vehicle form skidding.

The Electronic Damper Control (EDC) adjusts the stiffness of the suspension system according to the current driving condition. The suspension system works well even at higher speeds and this ensure maximum comfort for passengers even on uneven roads. The new 7er is likely to offer a magnificent driving experience like the S-Class.

The advanced safety kit comes with modern sensor technology that promises maximum safety for passengers. Airbags are deployed at the call of sensor system that detects impact within fraction of seconds. On the basis of requirement, the Active headrests are activated.

BMW has included a lot of features and new design elements that makes the car look more fresh and different. The 2016 BMW 730d is lighter than the previous model by up to 170 kgs and due to the weight reduction, the car ensures better driving experience.

BMW sells the 740Li, 750Li, 760Li and 730Ld variants in India with the price range of the series ranging from Rs. 73 lakh to Rs. 1.2 Crore. The series is available in the shades of Titanium Silver, Sterling, Titanium Grey, Kalahari Beige, Alpine White, Black Sapphire and Monaco Blue.
