DSK Hyosung Aquila 250 limited edition launched at Rs.2.94 lakh

A company backed by Nest co-founder Tony Fadell is taking Andy Rubin's startup to court.


The Aquila 250 is a premium cruiser, powered by a 249cc DOHC V- twin engine that produces 26.57 BHP at 9500 RMP and 21.37 Nm at 7000 rpm, and is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. It rides on telescopic forks up front and hydraulic double shock absorbers round the back. It also features a front disc brake and back drum brake setup.  DSK Hyosung on Tuesday said it is launching 100 limited edition Aquila 250 two wheelers. The Special edition cruiser bikes will be available in carbon black, matte green and desert brown colors across all DSK Hyosung dealerships. Shirish Kulkarni, Chairman, DSK Moto wheels said, “The DSK Hyosung Aquila 250 has been a high-demand cruiser in the sub – 500-cc market segment. In order to mark its achievement, we are proud to declare 100 limited edition units of the Aquila 250 which will be available in three stylish colors including matte green, desert brown and carbon black. We have partnered with various financial institutions to deliver interest free loans for all the motorcycles on offer in the DSK Hyosung line-up.”


Aquila 250 is a cruiser bike showcasing a V-twin, 4-stroke, 249cc DOHC engine. Equipped with front telescopic suspension and hydraulic shock absorbers at the rear, the cruiser bike comes with a fuel capacity of 14 liters. The limited edition units will be available at DSK Hyosung dealerships across India. They will be priced at Rs.2, 94,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi), a premium of Rs.10, 000 over the regular bike. Hyosung is also offering attractive zero per cent interest financing schemes on its superbike range across all showrooms in India. The regular Aquila 250 is priced at Rs.2, 84,000 (Ex-showroom, Delhi).
