Ford Endeavour with Panoramic Sunroof launched at Rs.29.57

A company backed by Nest co-founder Tony Fadell is taking Andy Rubin's startup to court.

With a positive response to Ford Endeavour’s 2.2L variant in India, the firm has launched the optional with an electric panoramic Sunroof at Rs.29.57 lakh. The model made its launch in 2016 with two engine options – a 2.2L and a 3.2L diesel unit, where its range starts from Rs.25.64 (All Prices are Ex Showroom) and is offered in five vibrant colours – Diamond White, Sunset Red, Moondust Silver, Absolute Black and Smoke.

Speaking on this Vinay Raina, executive director, sales, marketing and service, Ford India said, “Being the most awarded vehicle in its segment, Ford Endeavour truly surpasses what consumers expect from a premium SUV. The introduction of Electric Panoramic Sunroof on 2.2L variant further reinforces our commitment to meet and exceed customer expectations.” Further, adding to this, he said, “With the outline of Sunroof on 2.2L Variant, we have enabled clienteles to have the perfect combination of style, comfort, space, smart in-car technology, outstanding fuel economy and unparalleled ownership experience.”

Ford Endeavour boasts of bold and aggressive appearance with its signature LED daytime running lights and comes equipped with Active Noise Cancellation and sound absorbing materials, an 8 inch touchscreen with Ford’s SYNC 3 and for safety, it comes with seven airbags including knee airbag, to name a few. Offered with two engine options – a 2.2-litre and a 3.2 Litre diesel engine that are available in a total of six variants to choose from. The base version produces a decent power output of 158bhp with 385Nm while the range-topping variant in a 3.2-litre belts out 197bhp with 470Nm.
