Harley-Davidson Street Rod 750 launched in India at Rs.5.86 lakh
Harley-Davidson on Wednesday launched the all new Street Rod 750 in India for a price of Rs.5.86 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi), with bookings starting from today. Along with three new color options- the Street Rod 750 is an all new product from Harley-Davidson and sit above the Street 750 in India. The all new Harley Davidson Street Rod-750 is also a lakh more than the previous gen Street 750. The Harley-Davidson Street Rod 750 participates against the likes of DSK Hyosung Aquila Pro650 and Kawasaki ER-6N in India.
The Street Rod 750 comes with a 749 cc, High Output Revolution X V-Twin engine that creates extreme power output of 62 Nm @ 4,000 rpm, mated to a 6 speed transmission. The engine will most likely be compliant with BS IV release norms.
The new Street Rod 750 will come with a wheel-base of 1,510 mm and measures 2130 mm in length with a ground clearance of 205 mm. It will come with a fuel capability of 13 litres.
The new Harley-Davidson Street Rod 750 gets a lightweight front fender with black fender bracket plus the 2 up seat performance tail section. In the back, the Street Rod 750 gets a curved LED tail light with joint bar & rear LED turn signals and shield logo. Moreover, the new Street Rod 750 comes with a color matched speed display with a black insert brings a whole new depth of soul to this Street. The drag style bars and bar end glasses make for an aggressive riding place to take on the traffic. The Street Rod’s sleek drag bars, color matched speed screen and LED turn signals fit perfectly with an urban backdrop.
The Street Rod backs up its advanced engine and controlling performance with a liberal dose of Harley Davidson Dark Custom styling. 43 mm reversed triple camps and forks, topped with a new speed screen (colour matched to the coachwork except for a black centre insert) add mass to the front end. A new tail section, with perforated rear mudguard, lightens the rear with an all new LED tail light with H-D signature lighting. The upraised ride height with ground clearance of 205-mm and the new 17-inch front and back wheels with open spoke design lightens the visuals of the motorcycle that injects the Street Rod with a fit stance, while the new scoop style air cleaner cover and sharper snap of the exhaust note draw attention to the engine’s strong design.
