Honda updates the Amaze sedan and Brio hatch with AVN packages

A company backed by Nest co-founder Tony Fadell is taking Andy Rubin's startup to court.

Honda has updated its Amaze and Brio lineup in India with one new variant each. The new Honda Amaze VX (O) and Brio VX trims get the AVN package treatment (from the Honda Mobilio) making both models the top of the line variants.

The new Honda Amaze VX (O) gets a white speedometer with blue grades, a 15.7cm touchscreen system that comes pre-loaded with maps, satellite-based voice guided navigation and newly designed ORVMs. Honda has also added power folding wing mirrors and a rear defogger on the Amaze SX and higher variants of the sedan. The system comes with an integrated Bluetooth communication function that lets the user sync their phone with it and implement functions on screen including dialing, answering, history, address book and Bluetooth music streaming.

The Brio VX also gets all the same goodies from the Amaze VX (O) variant along with a new all-black interiors color scheme. The new Brio VX will come with both automatic and manual transmission options.

Announcing the new grades for Amaze and Brio, Mr. Jnaneswar Sen, Senior Vice President, Marketing & Sales, Honda Cars India Ltd said, “The new grades with Audio Video Navigation have been introduced as a result of customer feedback we have received. We value this feedback and constantly try to accommodate the same in our models..”

Honda Brio VX Price in India

  • Honda Brio VX Petrol Manual : Rs. 5.99 lakh
  • Honda Brio VX Petrol Automatic : Rs. 6.78 lakh
