2018 Isuzu V-Cross launched at Rs.14.31 lakh, gets LED DRL
Isuzu V-Cross is aimed at the passenger vehicle segment. Based on the popular D-Max platform, this new double cab pick-up truck has now been updated for the 2018 model year. Priced from Rs.14, 31,748 for the Standard trim and Rs.15, 81,748 for the High trim (ex-showroom Delhi prices) Isuzu expectations to get more sales in 2018. New Isuzu V-Cross is powered by a BS4 2.5 liter 4 cylinder intercooled turbocharged diesel engine. This engine offers 134 bhp power at 3,600 rpm and 320 Nm torque at 1,800 to 2,800 rpm pair off to a five speed manual gear transmission. Built on a heavy duty chassis with its body structure made of high tensile steel, the Isuzu V-Cross pickup is available in 4X4 configuration (Shift-on-fly 4WD).
Inside, the D-Max V-Cross now gets a 6-way power adjustable driver’s seat, a reversing camera and new dual-tone interiors with black leather upholstery on seats. Other features like Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Traction Control System (TCS) and cruise control are only available on the High variant. Automatic climate control, electrically folding and adjustable ORVMs and keyless entry continue to be there on the list of features. Over the features on the Standard variant, the High variant gets LED DRLs, LED tail lamps, electronic 6-way adjustable driver seat, black leather upholstery and a chrome rear bumper.
Being shaped at the business plant in Andhra Pradesh, the new pickup enters the Adventure Utility Vehicle segment that besides instilling a sense of adventure with a rugged and durable offroading stance, also pays special attention to on-board driver and passenger comforts. Interiors receive power windows, power-steering and centralized door locking system. High ground clearance and long wheelbase gives the UV a solid control over tough terrains. Addition to this, the chassis frame is designed with new iGRIP feature – Isuzu Gravity Response Intelligent Platform thus offering enhanced stability even at higher speeds and around sharp curves.
New features on offer are – ESC, Traction Control System, LED Tail Lamps, LED DRLs, Auto Cruise Control, 6-way Power 2-DIN Entertainment System, Rear Park Assist, Side-steps, black leather seats, Rear Chrome Bumper, etc. The new V-Cross is accessible in the newly presented bold Ruby Red colour apart from the before range of colours – Orchid Brown, Cosmic Black, Titanium Silver, Obsidian Grey and Splash White.
