Bookings open for 2015 Maruti Swift Dzire facelift

A company backed by Nest co-founder Tony Fadell is taking Andy Rubin's startup to court.

After the launch of the updated Maruti Suzuki Swift, the company is in plans to launch the updated Maruti Swift Dzire in India. Some dealerships in Delhi are accepting bookings for the compact sedan but the deliveries of the car will commence from the first week of March. Maruti Suzuki India has already started dispatching the first batch of the cars to its dealerships across the country.

The 2015 Maruti Swift Dzire features more chrome than the current model and the car’s grille is dominated by a chrome embellishment. The smoked headlamps go well with the chrome and grille. The side profile of the facelifted version remains unchanged and the car sits on multispoke alloy wheels. The Dzire, too will get more features like its hatchback sibling. The 2015 facelifted model will feature new seat upholstery, reverse parking sensors, push start-stop button, electrically adjustable outside rear view mirrors, new Bluetooth compatible music system and steering mounted audio controls alongwith other features. With the new features on board, the 2015 Swift Dzire will be costlier by Rs. 25,000 – Rs. 30,000 than the current model.

As the company has tweaked the engines to generate more fuel efficiency, the facelifted model will produce 10 percent more mileage than the current model.
