2015 Mercedes Benz AMG C 63 to be launched in Q3; to be priced at Rs. 1.3 crore
Mercedes Benz is all set to launch the AMG C 63 in India sometime during the third quarter of this year. While the Mercedes Benz C Class costs around Rs. 50 lakh (on-road price) in select cities in India, the Mercedes Benz AMG C 63 is likely to be priced at Rs. 1.3 crore in India.
Powering the C63 AMG S will be a new 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine that does duty under the hood of the India bound Mercedes AMG GT S. In the S variant, the engine dishes out 503 bhp of power and 71.3 kgm of torque.
The C63 AMG S delivers around 80 bhp more power than the BMW M3, which is Mercedes Benz’s direct rival in this segment. The C63 AMG S will be available in India via CBU route. The 2015 AMG C63 will be one of the fifteen launches planned by the luxurious car maker’s India subsidiary for 2015. It was first unveiled at the 2014 Paris Motor Show.
