Datsun to add one more compact SUV to its portfolio

By the end of this year, Datsun will expand it portfolio in India with the the launch of its compact SUV. This will be Nissan’s third car in this segment after Datsun Go and Datsun Go+.

It is expected that, the compact SUV and will be offered at a very competitive price in the country. The company is expected to launch this compact SUV in mid 2015. This car will be changing the trends of SUVs in India as it will be offered at a competitive price and will be affordable unlike other SUVs.

The company has announced that crossover will be developed on the same lines as that of Go and will be highly compact and sleek. The car will also have a better fuel efficiency than most of the SUVs in the country.

Datsun Go+ prebookings starts on jan 3, 2015

Like the other models launched by Nissan in this segment, the upcoming compact SUV will also target the customers who expect something new and different from its customers. The customer base of compact SUV will be similar to that of Datsun Go and Datsun GO+.

The company has decided to launch the third car in the compact SUV segment to increase its share in the automobile market of India. This will surely boost the sales of the vehicle by great numbers and will increase the share in Indian markets. The price of Nissan Crossover is also expected to be in the similar range to that of cars like Datsun Go and Datsun Go+. The car will be sold in countries like Indonesia and South Africa post its launch in India. The price of the car is expected to be around 4.5 lakhs. It will compete with cars like Maruti X101 alpha and Mahindra S101.
