Suzuki Motorcycle India has unveiled the 2018 Suzuki RM-Z250 at the 2018 Auto Expo in Greater Noida. Here are the off-roader’s live images from the show. The 2018 Suzuki RM-Z250 comes under the brand’s RM-Z series of bikes that are for closed-course rivalry use and linked practices only. The 2018 version comes with new competition inspired body panel colours, graphics and seat colour, similar to its bigger cousin, the 2018 RM-Z450. Powering the 2018 Suzuki RM-Z250 a 249-cc 4-stroke DOHC mill with fuel injection and liquid cooling. The engine works in unison with a 5-speed transmission. Coming to the electronics, the Japanese bike maker has equipped the bike with Suzuki Holeshot Assist Control (S-HAC). It is a selectable launch mode system derived from the factory race motorcycle. There are 3 modes from which the riders can choose as per their skill level and starting conditions.

Suspension mechanisms contain adaptable upside down front fork with pneumatic spring; and a link-type monoshock with adjustable spring preload. The tank can hold 6.5 litres of fuel, and the bike weighs 106 kg, kerb. For braking, it uses petal disc on both ends. The spoke wheels are shod with Dunlop MX52 series tires. The tires feature CTCS (Carcass Tension Control System) technology for extreme strictness and grip. The bike is for showcase only, and it is unlikely that Suzuki will launch the motorcycle owing to cost constraints.
